Hamlet was invited this spring by housing corporation G&O to participate jointly in a tender by the Municipality of Bussum for the Slochterenlaan Noord plot. Timber construction was the starting point for G&O.
Hamlet then put together the tender team consisting of Heren 5 Architecten, the landscape architects of V-ER, Bouwbedrijf Slokker and Merosch.
It was recently announced that we won this tender with this great team. The design consists of two sustainable social urban villas containing 25 rental flats, embedded in a beautifully designed landscape. Naturally, the main load-bearing structure is made entirely of wood.
