Technical Draftsman/Revit Modeler
Hamlet specialises in the design and realisation of solid timber building structures; mainly based on laminated timbers such as CLT. A separate subsidiary focuses on the assembly of CLT airframes. We offer our clients a complete design&build service. Starting from the sketch design, we model in 3D. The end result is the production files for the CLT plant. We also increasingly develop our own applications based on Python, Dynamo and Grasshopper.
We are currently working on several high-rise projects with a total floor area of over 150,000M2. To further grow our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and talented technical draughtsman/Revit modeller.
Work experience.
- Young enthusiastic professional eager to learn about CLT structures.
Educational background
- Bachelor (HBO) Bouwtechnisch ingenieur
Skills
- English language
- Dutch language
- Autodesk Revit (good knowledge)
- AutoCAD (basic)
- Accurate modelling and familiarity with BIM methodology (BIM Collab, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Familiarity with the Bouwbesluit (BBL) relevant NEN standards and other regulations
- Interest in all phases of design, engineering, detailing and construction
- Interest in finding the most efficient way of working and automating tasks. (Knowledge of Python, Dynamo, Grasshopper is an advantage).
- A keen eye for technical feasibility
- Familiar with HSBCAD plug-in in Revit is an advantage
